To change a user’s password from the admin side in Salesgem, first log in to your admin account and go to the Settings section. From there, open User Management where all team members or users are listed. Select the user whose password you want to change and click on Edit User or Reset Password, depending on the version of Salesgem you are using. If the reset option is available, the system will send a password reset link directly to the user’s registered email. In some cases, you may also be able to enter a new password manually under the Edit User option and then save the changes. Once done, inform the user about their updated login details or advise them to check their email for the reset link. For security reasons, admins cannot view the current password, but they can always reset it or create a new one.
To export or download leads from Salesgem, you need to log in to your account and go to the Leads section from the main dashboard. Once inside the leads page, use the available filters to narrow down the list of leads you want to export, such as by lead status, date, source, or owner. After applying the filters, look for the Export or Download option, usually placed at the top-right corner of the leads page. Click on it, and the system will ask you to choose the format (commonly Excel/CSV). Select the format and confirm the export. The file will then be generated and either directly downloaded to your system or sent to your registered email address, depending on your plan and settings. This way, you can easily manage your lead data offline, share with team members, or integrate with other tools.
To import old leads into Salesgem, log in to your account and go to the Leads section from the dashboard. In the leads panel, look for the Import option, usually available at the top-right corner or under the settings menu. Click on it, and you will be prompted to upload a file, generally in Excel or CSV format, containing your old leads. Before uploading, make sure your file is properly formatted with clear columns such as name, email, phone number, company, source, and any other relevant fields that match Salesgem’s lead fields. After uploading, the system will display a field mapping screen, where you can match your file’s column headers with Salesgem’s lead fields. Once mapping is done, confirm and start the import. Salesgem will then process your file and add the leads to your system. After completion, you’ll get a confirmation message, and the imported leads will appear in your Leads dashboard, ready for further management.
If you are seeing only a few leads in Salesgem, it is usually due to filters, permissions, or data sync settings. Often, the system applies filters like lead status, date range, or owner by default, which may limit the number of leads displayed. In such cases, you need to clear or adjust the filters from the leads dashboard to view the complete list. Another common reason is user permissions—if you are logged in as a sales representative rather than an admin, you may only see leads assigned to you, while other team leads remain hidden. Additionally, if your leads are being imported or synced from external sources (such as a CRM, website, or campaign), incomplete imports or pending sync processes may cause only a partial list to appear. Lastly, plan limitations may also restrict the number of leads visible or stored, depending on your subscription.
To suspend a user account in Salesgem after they leave the organization, log in to your Admin account and go to the Settings section. From there, open User Management (sometimes listed as Team Members/Users) where all active users are displayed. Select the specific user who has left the organization, and click on the Edit User or Manage Account option. Within this menu, you will find the Suspend, Deactivate, or Disable option depending on your version of Salesgem. Once you confirm the action, the user’s account will be suspended immediately, preventing them from logging in or accessing company data. Suspending rather than deleting ensures that their past activities, leads, and records remain intact for reporting and tracking purposes, while also securing your system from unauthorized access.
